R.P.N. (registered practical nurse)

Manitoulin Centennial Manor ( Little Current, ON) is currently looking for a skilled R.P.N. (registered practical nurse). The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Weekend, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must conduct specimen collection in accordance with protocols.
• The candidate must ensure infection control.
• The candidate must observe and record medication’s therapeutic and side effects.
• The candidate must provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
• The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
