Ocean Crisp Apple Company in Kentville, NS is inviting applications for the position of Production labourer - food processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Seasonal employment - Part time opportunity. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
• The candidate must assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must pack, weigh, and stack bound and finished products on pallets for shipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a fruit and vegetable processing plant to operate machinery, process products, and maintain food safety standards.
