Pharmacy assistant

IGS Value Drug Mart ( Fernie, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Pharmacy assistant. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
