Prairie Service is situated in Port Coquitlam, BC and is hiring a Automotive service mechanics supervisor to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
