Balsam is situated in Dayspring, NS and is hiring a Personal care aide - home care to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
