Thermotech Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd. is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must install and overhaul heating systems.
• The candidate must install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies.
• The candidate must install refrigeration systems.
• The candidate must install ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• The candidate must handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
