Patient service aide

Residence Florentine-Dansereau in Verchères, QC is inviting applications for the position of Patient service aide. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
• The candidate must take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of supplies.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
