Nursing services aide

Angelic - Clinical Wellness & Beauty is situated in Port Elgin, ON and is hiring a Nursing services aide to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.
• The candidate must clean, trim, and polish nails.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
• The candidate must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check.
• The candidate must be able to pass a tuberculosis test.
