Brookdale Treeland Nurseries Ltd. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON is inviting applications for the position of Nursery worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform budding of trees.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
