Brookdale Treeland Nurseries Ltd. is situated in Port Hope, ON and is hiring a Nursery worker to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Required shifts: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform budding of trees.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be able to handle a large workload.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
