KS Nurseries Ltd. in Pitt Meadows, BC is inviting applications for the position of Nursery foreman/woman. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must tender and administer contracts.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Site Environment
