Apiary worker

Vancouver Honey Ltd. in Pitt Meadows, BC is seeking a self-motivated Apiary worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
