Machine operator - food and beverage processing

Mrs. Dunster's in Sussex, NB is inviting applications for the position of Machine operator - food and beverage processing. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
• The candidate must perform corrective machine adjustments.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• The candidate must make adjustments to process variables.
• The candidate must maintain a shift log of production and other data.
• The candidate must set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• The candidate must check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a food processing plant.
• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
• The candidate should work in a large volume bakery; bakers bake and sell fresh baked goods throughout the day and night, sometimes on weekends.
