Active Green + Ross is situated in Scarborough, ON and is hiring a Motor vehicle mechanic to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Overtime required, Day, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must confirm findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace a unit.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
