Mobile crane operator

ABCO Crane Services in Nisku, AB is seeking a self-motivated Mobile crane operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate crane capacities.
• The candidate must measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
• The candidate must operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
• The candidate must perform pre-operational inspections.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
