CanForge in Welland, ON is inviting applications for the position of Millwright. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day, , 07:00 to 15:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
