Solderer

Advance air solutions ltd ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Solderer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
