ALSTOM Transport Canada Inc in Saint-Bruno, QC is inviting applications for the position of Manager, purchasing contracts. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must review purchase order claims and contracts to determine compliance with company policy.
• The candidate must plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• The candidate must oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.
• The candidate must manage contracts.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
