Machinist

Usimax Inc in Saint-Georges, QC is seeking a self-motivated Machinist. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
