Accounting technician

Usimax Inc in Saint-Georges, QC is inviting applications for the position of Accounting technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• The candidate must calculate fixed assets and depreciation accurately.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must post journal entries.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.
• The candidate must manage accounts payable.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
