Groupe Industriel Lachance Inc in Granby, QC is inviting applications for the position of Machinist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
• The candidate must set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
