Machine tool set-up operator

Anthony Screw Products Limited ( Burlington, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Machine tool set-up operator. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and set up machines for repetitive machining operations.
• The candidate must verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
• The candidate must prepare etching solutions and immerse metal parts to remove unwanted portions.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in manufacturing industry to operate machinery, assemble products, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
