Long haul truck driver

JPP Transport Ltd. ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Long haul truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be willing to travel cross-border.
