Xylas Inertia Larion in Brampton, ON is inviting applications for the position of Live-in caregiver - persons with disabilities. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Term or contractFull time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.
• The candidate must develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• The candidate must plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
