We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Term or contractFull time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

  • The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
  • The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
  • The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must provide personal care.
  • The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • The candidate must cook meals as required.
  • The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate must supervise and care for children.
  • The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
  • The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
  • The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate must be dependable.
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate must show initiative.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate must be reliable.
  • The candidate must have patience.
