Private Household is situated in Langley, BC and is hiring a Home child care provider to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must follow the parents’ guidance regarding toilet training.
• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
