Land survey technician

Arpentage GTG Inc is situated in Alma, QC and is hiring a Land survey technician to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate survey instruments and devices.
• The candidate must participate in field surveys.
• The candidate must keep survey information in systematic order.
• The candidate must assist in the preparation of detailed drawings, charts, and plans.
• The candidate must analyze latitude, longitude, and angles, and compute trigonometric and other calculations to plot features, contours, and areas to a specific scale.
• The candidate must determine precise geographic locations using global positioning systems (GPS) equipment.
• The candidate must record measurements and other information obtained during field survey activities.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or equivalent experience.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
