AL SPRAY FOAM & DRYWALL SISTEM Inc. in Etobicoke, ON is seeking a self-motivated Insulator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must select the type of insulation required.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.
• The candidate must fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• The candidate must remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, mold, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
