Fermar Paving Limited is situated in Etobicoke, ON and is hiring a Heavy equipment operators supervisor to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must oversee apprenticeship training.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition materials and supplies.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
