Now hiring: Insulator at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC in Calgary, AB. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• The candidate must install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• The candidate must brush waterproofing cement or other materials over insulating materials.
• The candidate must remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, mold, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
