Job Description
- The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
- The candidate must assemble stationary industrial machinery.
- The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
- The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
- The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
- The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
- The candidate must commission systems and components.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
- The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
- Or equivalent experience.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be a good team player.
Work Site Environment
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
Work Setting
- The candidate should work on the installation stage at which machinery is unpacked, reassembled, realigned, connected to essential services, and tested exhaustively to ensure it operates at peak operating efficiency when it finally goes into production.
- The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
- The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
- The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
- The candidate should work on an overhaul to renovate thoroughly, making significant changes to repair.
- The candidate should work on machine set-up, the time required to prepare a machine for its next run after producing the last part of the previous run.
