Home support worker

Private Home in Montréal, QC is seeking a self-motivated Home support worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Term or contractFull time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients in water (i.e., pool).
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must mend clothing and linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.
