Procurement specialist

Camfil Power Systems in Laval, QC is seeking a self-motivated Procurement specialist. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must determine contract terms and conditions.
• The candidate must award contracts to appropriate parties.
• The candidate must monitor progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate must contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
