Sadiq Family in Markham, ON is seeking a self-motivated Home child care provider. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.
• The candidate must work in a scent-free environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work at the employer's home.
• The candidate should work in optional accommodation, an adjustment to a job or work environment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to perform their job duties.
