Sheng House Furnishings ( Yorkton, SK) is currently looking for a skilled Helper, stock. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: , 09:30 to 18:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must use sales forecasting software.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
• The candidate must store cargo and materials.
• The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
• The candidate should work in a retail store for furniture that sells furniture and related accessories.
