Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic

WESPAC MECHANICAL LTD. in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure and lay out reference points for installation.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• The candidate must perform maintenance such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems.
• The candidate must interpret gas codes.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
