Drywall taper

Top Notch Taping ( Calgary, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Drywall taper. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints smoothly.
• The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
• The candidate must prepare wall and ceiling layouts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
