Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic

JCD Refrigeration Inc. is situated in Dorval, QC and is hiring a Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) mechanic to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must install and overhaul heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot heating systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• The candidate must assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices.
• The candidate must perform maintenance such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, or calibrating systems.
• The candidate must interpret gas codes.
• The candidate must handle, recover, and store refrigerants.
• The candidate must repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
