PUREFIELD FARMS in Newtonville, ON is inviting applications for the position of Harvesting labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
