Hardwood floor covering installer

Branmore Solutions Inc in Langford, BC is seeking a self-motivated Hardwood floor covering installer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding.
• The candidate must prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings.
• The candidate must prepare and install hardwood floors.
• The candidate must inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
• The candidate must remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a commercial setting that fosters a workforce of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
