Best Western Mountainview Inn in Golden, BC is seeking a self-motivated Guest services agent - hotel. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must register arriving guests and assign rooms.
• The candidate must process group arrivals and departures.
• The candidate must take, cancel, and change room reservations.
• The candidate must provide information on hotel facilities and services.
• The candidate must provide general information about points of interest in the area.
• The candidate must process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
• The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
• The candidate must perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
• The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Setting
