Grounds maintenance labourer

Vertdure Lévis in Lévis, QC is inviting applications for the position of Grounds maintenance labourer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be resourceful.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in the landscape maintenance division, the art and vocation of keeping a landscape healthy, clean, safe, and attractive, typically in a garden, yard, park, institutional setting, or estate.
