iHotel and Conference Centre Red Deer in Red Deer, AB is inviting applications for the position of Banquet server. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must schedule staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
