Greenhouse supervisor

Warring Orchards ( Canyon, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Greenhouse supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
