Greenhouse labourer

Rainbow Greenhouses Inc. ( Chilliwack, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Greenhouse labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
