Grain farm worker

Greenshields Seed Farm Ltd. ( Semans, SK, S0A 3S0) is currently looking for a skilled Grain farm worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Weekend. LMIA approved position.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
