General labourer - material handling

Darwin Event Group in Berwick, NS is seeking a self-motivated General labourer - material handling. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. The schedule involves Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage.
• The candidate must coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events.
• The candidate must plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits.
• The candidate must manage event logistics.
• The candidate must wrap goods.
• The candidate must transport and distribute materials and goods.
• The candidate must store cargo and materials.
• The candidate must pick orders and stock items.
• The candidate must operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
• The candidate must load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• The candidate must make labels and attach them to goods.
• The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
• The candidate must build pallets.
• The candidate must ship orders.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
• The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
