General labourer - manufacturing

TOP PLUS EMPLOYMENT INC ( Concord, ON) is currently looking for a skilled General labourer - manufacturing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Casual employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Day, , 09:00 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must check and weigh materials and products.
• The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
