General labourer - farm

Cecilia Acres ( Kingsville, ON) is currently looking for a skilled General labourer - farm. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend shifts. LMIA approved position.

Job Description

• The candidate must grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pack fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
