Greenhouse labourer

Agriville in Kingsville, ON is inviting applications for the position of Greenhouse labourer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend. LMIA approved position.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.

• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
